Accelerated Reading, a literature-based
reading motivational program, helps teachers
give students the time to practice reading.
Accelerated Reading keeps track of the
books students have read and how well
they understood them. It motivates students
because it enables them to set goals and
challenges them to attain those goals.
It motivates teachers because they get
the diagnostic information they need to
make good instructional decisions.

books from a database of more than 4,000
quizzes. Accelerated Reading helps to
boost comprehension necessary to make
our readers tomorrow's leaders.
